Privacy policy

Lalalocker Co., Ltd. (拉可有限公司) (Unified Business Number 50761102; hereinafter, the "Company") operates the "lalalocker" website and luggage storage booking service (hereinafter, the "Website"). To protect your rights and interests, the Company has established this Privacy Policy in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act and related laws and regulations. This Policy explains how the Company collects, processes, and uses your personal data. Please read the following carefully.

1. Scope of Application

This Policy applies to the Company's collection, processing, and use of your personal data when you use the Website and the Service. It does not apply to linked websites other than the Website, nor to persons who are not commissioned by the Company or involved in its management.

2. Categories of Personal Data Collected and Methods of Collection

  1. Member registration and orders: name, email address, telephone number, nationality, information of the person authorized to retrieve luggage on your behalf, and any other information you provide when making a booking.
  2. Payment information: your credit card information is processed directly by the payment service providers commissioned by the Company (such as Stripe and TapPay); the Company does not store your full card number.
  3. System records: when you use the Website, the server automatically records related information, including your IP address, time of use, browser type, and browsing and click records.
  4. Customer service communications: information you provide when contacting the Company via the customer service email address or other channels.

3. Purposes of Collection and Use

  1. The purposes of collection include: providing the luggage storage booking service and performing contracts; order management and notifications; customer service; payment processing and invoicing; marketing (including newsletters, from which you may unsubscribe at any time); statistical analysis and service improvement; and legal compliance and dispute resolution.
  2. Period of use: from the time of collection until the foregoing purposes cease to exist, you request deletion, or the retention period required by law expires, whichever is applicable.
  3. Territory of use: within the Republic of China (Taiwan), and the locations of the data centers of the cloud services used by the Company (including Singapore and other overseas locations).
  4. Recipients and manner of use: within the scope of the foregoing purposes, your personal data may be used, by automated or other means, by the Company and by the following parties:
    1. Partner stores: order information necessary for the performance of the storage service (such as your name and order number).
    2. Service providers commissioned by the Company: payment service providers (Stripe, TapPay), electronic invoice value-added services (ECPay (Green World Fintech)), and cloud hosting and email delivery services.
    3. Website analytics and advertising services: Google Analytics and Google Ads (see Section 6 for details).

Except where there is a legal basis or contractual obligation, the Company will not provide, exchange, rent, or sell your personal data to any other third party.

4. Data Protection

  1. The Website's servers are equipped with firewalls, anti-virus systems, and other information security equipment, together with the necessary security safeguards. Your personal data is accessed and handled only by authorized personnel, all of whom are bound by confidentiality obligations; any violation will be subject to the applicable legal sanctions.
  2. Where the Company commissions third parties to provide services for business needs, the Company will require them to comply with confidentiality obligations and will adopt the necessary inspection procedures to confirm that they in fact comply.

5. Rights of Data Subjects

In accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act of Taiwan (Article 3), you may exercise the following rights with respect to your personal data held by the Company:

  1. Make an inquiry about, or request to review, your data.
  2. Request a copy of your data.
  3. Request supplementation or correction of your data.
  4. Request the cessation of the collection, processing, or use of your data.
  5. Request the deletion of your data.

You may submit a request by email to [email protected]. For inquiries, review, or the provision of copies, the Company may, as permitted by law, charge a fee covering the necessary costs. Where data that you request the Company to cease using or to delete is necessary for the performance of a contract or must be retained under applicable law, the Company will process your request to the extent permitted by law; however, this may result in the Company being unable to continue providing you with some or all of the Service.

6. Cookies and Third-Party Tracking Technologies

  1. To provide you with better service, the Website writes and reads cookies on your device. You may refuse the writing of cookies in your browser settings, but this may cause some functions of the Website to fail to operate properly.
  2. The Website uses Google Analytics to analyze website traffic and usage behavior, and uses Google Ads (including remarketing features) to serve advertisements. Google may collect information about your visits to the Website through cookies and use it to display relevant advertisements to you. You may disable personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings (https://adssettings.google.com).

7. Links to External Websites

The Website provides links to other websites, and you may access other websites through the links provided on the Website. Such linked websites are not subject to this Policy; you should refer to the privacy policies of those linked websites.

8. Protection of Minors

Persons under eighteen (18) years of age may use the Service only after their legal representative has read, understood, and agreed to all of the contents of this Policy.

This Policy may be amended from time to time as needed. The amended terms will be published on the Website; material changes will be announced on the Website or notified to you by other appropriate means.
