Special Cases:
1.Sports equipment
It’s OK for you to bring your sport equipment on the plane. Your equipment will be seen as checked baggage, so the weight should meet the limitation above according to your ticket fare. Moreover, its total dimensions limitation are 300 cm. You can add this online or buy it at the airport. That being said, remember if you are in a group over 10 people, you must get prior approval from Air France customer service department.
2.Musical instrument
Musical instruments which are seen as cabin baggage should be smaller than the dimensions of 115 cm and under 45 kg. You need to get prior approval from Air France customer service department 48 hrs before departure. It will be placed on an extra seat but you need to par extra fee.
If it doesn’t meet the allowance, it will be checked in and should meet the checked baggage allowance. You can purchase an ‘ additional baggage’ for it.
3.Infant & Child
If your infant weighing less than 10 kg and height less than 70 cm, you can require for a bassinet. Remember to check on phone if you can require for this service 48 hrs before departure.
If you booked a seat for your kid under 2 years old, kid should seat on a car seat. However, in the Business cabin on certain Boeing 777 and all Boeing 787, and in the La Première cabin on all type of aircraft, you can only let your child seat on your lap.
