【 Travel 】Trip for 5 days in OKINAWA of 910 part 3

Traveling is just like opening a surprise box. You’ll never know what will go on. No matter it will go well or bad, that’ll be a small part of the trip. It makes the trip unique. Look up to the azure blue sky, and look at the clear ocean. It is a brand new day today. Let’s adventure!

| Day 3 |

Good morning~ It was still a clear day this morning. I haven’t digested BBQ meat from yesterday. Now it came to another meal. This was bought from A-coop where we bought our BBQ ingredients, also we shared the 946ml milk.

We were done and time to head over. Hmm… what are you doing, Cheng?

Hey! Give their pillows back.

The first station today was Cape Hedo where is located at the northernmost cape of Okinawa. At the north of Okinawa, more natural scenes are here and they are far from the attractions people are used to visiting, so there were less tourists here when we came. That being said, scenes here were spectacular.

We went closer to the monument.

The words on this monument is “fire of friendship.” Did it set for us?

Parking lot here was also for free. Jett had no driver’s license, so he asked to practice here because less cars here. In this duration, I went inside this pink house myself.

It was tourist center. Lots of tourist information was included, and it was not only the information of Cape Hedo but the whole attraction information of Okinawa.

A restaurant was on the 2nd floor. From here, one could enjoy the beautiful scene og Cape Hedo, but it was breakfast time then, so we hadn’t needed yet.

The scene on 3rd floor.

After Cape Hedo, we came to Dai Sekirinzan Park. It was also a famous natural tourist attraction.

Tourists need to buy the tickets. They also provide tour guide in English.

It was it noon. There weren’t many choice to eat nearby, so we just went upper floor to have our lunch.

Fureai Syokudo Nantoya. It was a little bit expensive to us. About JPY 1200/person.

But the scene was wonderful.

Last but not least, it’s delicious! The salad bar was all-you-can-eat. I added all kinds of home-made sauce in the front of the picture. All of them were nice, especially the yellow one. It was sweat pepper sauce.

I didn’t see most of the vegetable here, and I didn’t understand what was written on the card. Then, I thought I had a bite of rosemary. The strong flavor made me stunned.

Curry set from my friend.

I ordered the No.1 set – Okinawa pork soup.

The waiter brought me to the front of kitchen and told me I could have as much as I want. Rice was included in the salad bar, so you could also have as much as you want. The soup was full of pork bone with a little bit bitter gourd.

Done. Ready for climbing.

Daisekirinzan course map. Our goal today was the yellow route and the green route. They took 60 mins and 30 mins separately.

This was the shuttle bus every 5 mins and briught us to the starting point.

The building was where we bought the ticket and had lunch.

The starting point was 精氣小屋. They provided umbrellas and wooden canes for free rental.

Ready to go!

It’s cool and comfortable here. Trees blocked the sunshine.

This was a matching stone beside the road.

People plug coins into the slit on stone to prey for good matching.

I inserted 5 yen to prey for good luck.

Hot spot – Churaumi Observation Deck.

Hot spot part 2 – Stone Forest Wall. (Acyually that wasn’t here.)

Hot spot part 3 – Chinese Banyan of Worship. Alex always hid behind someone.

The route was simple to me. We finished it after one and a half hour.

Then, it came the happy shopping mall – AEON Shopping Mall. Aeon at night.

There were a huge Shisa at the entrance. Weird Bobo.

Actually, the toughest part this day was shopping. The area of AEON was almost killing me. Dai Sekirinzan Park? That was nothing.

I love the style of this shop which was located at a corner of 2nd floor. It’s ocean style with colorful bikini, flip-flop, or many beautiful boho style clothes inside, but the price was unfriendly.

Oh! Give me a set of Kimono.

It’s… Kingdom of Ghibli!!!

Do you want Kiki’s clothes?

Haha Pokemon store. It’s modern.

It is also sold in Taiwan. I love its cream puff with strong vanilla custard cream inside.

Which is yummy, puff or Bobo? (Without doubts, PUFF!)

Clothes for girls, how about boys?

Chou Tzu-Yu’s poster! Jett wanted to occupied it.

Goodnight guys.

| Day 4 |

Good morning. I’d like to introduce my most favorite part of this trip.

Scuba diving at Okinawa Blue Cave!

Before going down the water, everyone was nervous. Even I am used to swimming frequently.

Some people said we needed to take a reservation 2 days before diving, but I think if one get a parking space, it means one can go scuba diving immediately. The parking lot was small, and we spent about one hour to line up. When we got a space to park, we found a coach to bring us to the Blue Cave.

Here you could find coaches for four languages, Japanese, Chinese, English, and Korean. Just go forward to ask the dark-skin guys there. We spent JPY 10680/ person. Actually, I didn’t know how long it took but I guess when you feel bored, the time is up.

The coach would pull us forward. The deepest place was Blue Cave. I felt scared before getting inside because it was dark, I was not sure what was inside there, but my eyes adapted the light quickly.

We caught the rock and fed fish. It had sharp teeth so we wore gloves.

These are all small clips from the video they shot. If you only need some photos, it’s for free, but videos charge JPY 3000.

Shower charged JPY 200/ 100seconds. Don’t use any clean product. The dirty water would flow into the sea, and clean products are harmful to creatures in the ocean.

Our next station was Urasoe Daikoen Park. We had our lunch nearby in this small store – Tedakosoba Home-made Noodle.

Waiters were friendly and meals here were nice, too. It wasn’t expensive here, about JPY 700.

It’s my yam and natto noodle. I added too much soy sauce. I couldn’t stand it.

Spoons in Japanese noodle shops are used to using this kind of spoon which can hang on the edge of bowl.

After lunch, we headed over Urasoe Daikoen Park.

We couldn’t find parking lot, so we parked in the public cemetery.

Urasoe Daikoen Park is a park beside the cemetery. It’s famous for its super long slide.

See what we did. ( Actually, it’s for 6-12 years old…)

On the way back to parking lot, we tried to find a shortcut; however, we went into the cemetery but found the beautiful scene of Okinawa streets accidently.

Ok, let’s go to the next stop. I know everyone are interested to this. The sign became English on the way close there.

Depot Isalnd!

American children went skateboarding on the street here.

The USA used to occupy there as a war base.

I thought this building with Ferris Wheel was somewhat declining, but there were still some nice shops inside like this one.

I love this one with “I’m alive for freedom ” on it, but it was expensive, JPY 2480.

Haha… Kamehame Ha!

How delicious 31 ice cream is.

My cousin required for these medicine. I heard that Takeda Alinamin EX PLUS had better formula in Japan. I bought them in Daikoku Corporation in Depot Island.

A&W on the 2nd floor. Cheng brainwashed us every day that this was delicious.

It was actually nice. It’s my orange chicken burger. Do you see the piece of cream cheese? It’s awesome.

The zone across from the Ferris Wheel zone was place where we should visit. Actually, more restaurants were in Depot Island, and each of them seemed selling foreign cuisine. I was in the shorts bought from H&M in AEON.

Street scenes at Depot Island.

Our photographer, Joyce.

You’ll feel surprised after turning to corners.

On the way back to the rental, we bought our breakfast in FamilyMart. I found that one should put the money on the plate. If you don’t, the cashier will require you to do so or take money up and put it on. It seems an unnecessary behavior but I thought its purpose is to avoid any argument. If the cashier says the money guest paid is not enough, guest can easily see if it is true or the cashier actually steal the money.

I’ve visited Beijing at the beginning of July and had a habit to drink sour cream. This tasted like sour cream in Beijing. I love it.

Have a sweet dream, goodnight.

I heard that 910 would take a trip to Taipei? Last day, Jett gave us a surprise. What would it go? Let’s read the last episode.

Spread the love
