Located in central Taiwan is a beautiful place that not only foreigners find amazing, but is also a favorite destination for most Taiwanese. Apart from being the cultural center of Taiwan, it is also the birthplace of our favorite Boba Tea! – Taichung.  If you want to get away from the over-crowded Greater Taipei and enjoy great sunshine, have unique cultural experiences, explore local cuisine and many more things, Taichung is your best option!

Right after you arrive

If you love natural scenery, Gaomei wetlands, Guguan hot springs, and Lishan scenic area are places that you can put on your checklist. Dajia Jenn Lann Temple is also a wonderful cultural experience that one must explore in Taichung. But before you get going to these places, you must explore the local Miyahara signature ice cream, near the Taichung train station and you can also plan to pack some of their delicious bakeries as souvenirs for your loved ones. While enjoying your ice cream, you can also take advantage of the locker facility nearby, in case you need to deposit your luggage.
