Jet2 supports a budget price of airline ticket. However, budget airlines usually have relatively serious policies for guest’s luggage. Check this article before booking your ticket in Jet2.
luggage Rules of Jet2:
The rules of its luggage are simple. If you exceed the limit of weigh or size, the charge is depended on the route you booking.
Checked Luggage

Notices:
- If the luggage is overloaded, it’ll be charged £45 at the airport.
2. If you add the overloaded luggage online, the price is 50% less than that at the airport.
Special Cases:
1.There is an infant or child on the booking.
Infant may need a collapsible pushchair. If the pushchair doesn’t exceed the weigh of 10kg, it won’t be charged.
2.Sport Equipment or Musical Instrument?
If you want to attend a sport event or a musical concert abroad, you can pay £50/ per equipment or instrument which is less than 20kg and can not exceed 6ft in length.
3.Change the Airline Company
If you need to bring many things abroad, Jet2 may not be suitable to you. Try Flybe instead, they have the weigh of checked luggage up to 23kg. Or you can choose Eurowings, and you have more choices due to their different kind of ticket class.
