When one books a ticket from a budget airline, luggage always becomes the most important problem. As the head of budget airline in Europe, Eurowings set some rules you must know before press the check button.
Checked luggage of Eurowings:
One can see four kinds of tickets when booking on Eurowings. Different kind has its limitation of luggage allowance. Let’s see their differences.

Cabin luggage also depends on the ticket class one have booked.

All of the above are in the dimensions limitation of 55 x 40 x 30 cm and weigh limitation of 8kg.
Note: Each passenger may carry on board a further small item of hand luggage, not exceeding 40 x 30 x 10 cm (e.g. laptop bag, handbag, briefcase, folder satchel, etc.).
Special Cases:
1.Sports equipment such as golf clubs, bike or surf board?
There are different fees for each item. Make sure you apply for this online or you can make a phone call to their call centre.
However, any sports equipment should not exceed 30kg.
2.Musical instrument?
Sure do. Small size musical instrument can be seen as a cabin luggage, such as clarinets, flutes, French horns, oboes, violins, trumpets. They should not exceed 55 x 40 x 23 cm in size. However, you may only take one other piece of hand luggage with a maximum size of 40 x 30 x 10 cm on board.
Larger musical instruments must be placed on an extra seat in the cabin. If you book an extra seat via telephone before midnight on the same day as you book your flight, you can enjoy this serve for free. If an extra seat is added later, it will be charged.
Nevertheless, Double bass is too large to take on the plane, so it must be transported in a hard case and checked in as luggage.
