Baggage Allowance of KLM Airlines

Baggage Rules of KLM:

Cabin Baggage:

If your cabin bag exceeds the size of limit, you have to check it in at the gate, free of charge, due to the size of overhead bins.
Special Cases:
1.Baggage more then 32kg
The Baggage will be seen as a cargo, and it will be charged more money. You still have some other choices, such as separating into 2 bags, upgrading to Business Class, paying the separate charge per bags.
2.Sport Equipment?
If they meet the limitation of cabin baggage, it can be seen as normal baggage, such as golf bag. As for bicycles or surf boards, they are special baggage and should not exceed 107cm. Meanwhile, snowboard or skis are seen as normal baggage but should not exceed 23kg, or it will be charged €25 – €68.
3.Child or Infant
Child younger than 2 years old will not be charged additional fee if he or she sit on your lap. In addition, you can bring more baggage:
1 piece of hand baggage with child items(max 12kg, 55 x 35 x 25 cm).
1 child car seat or 1 collapsible buggy.
4.Transferring Baggage
If you need to transfer the other flight, your baggage tag will show the final destination. So it won’t follow your flight.
